Team Captain Central
The first Dash was held in 1996, drawing around 800 people. Now, 22 years later, the Donor Dash has grown to more than 12,000 people all coming together to celebrate those who have received transplants, remember the generous donors who made a second chance possible, and to give hope to people who are still waiting.
At the Donor Dash, teams of passionate and committed people participate in one of three races: a 10k run, a 5k run, or a 3k walk starting at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and heading down Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Donor Dash unites the local community while raising awareness and funds to help Gift of Life Donor Program continue to educate the community about life-saving organ and life-enchaining tissue transplants.
Gift of Life Donor Program would like to formally extend our utmost appreciation to you for signing up as a Team Captain for the 23rd Annual Donor Dash. We are extremely grateful to have the amazing support from you and your team to raise awareness about the importance of organ and tissue donation. The success of the Donor Dash depends on the leadership of team captains like you!
This year the 23rd Annual Donor Dash is being held on Sunday, April 15, 2018, and our goal is to have more than 400 teams participate and together raise more than $500,000. The growing success of the Donor Dash is largely owed to leaders like you, the teams and volunteers who deliver strictly their best efforts each year.
