Dash Spirit Week!
Dash From Home will include a Spirit Week of fun activities and contests including Donate Life Blue and Green Day, a fun interactive activity using Kahoot, and a Donor Dash Appreciation Day to wear your past Dash gear! Participants will have the opportunity to walk or run in their favorite place and on their own time while supporting our life-saving mission.
*Anyone who registers after March 22nd will receive their event t-shirt after the event*
Dash From Home Challenge
New this year, join the Dash From Home Challenge! Complete tasks to earn points and win prizes all while increasing awareness about Gift of Life and its life-saving mission.
Use this Dash From Home Challenge scorecard to keep track of the tasks you complete. Each task is a fun and unique way to join Gift of Life in celebrating the Dash From Home. This scorecard can be filled out digitally or you can print it at home to complete.
The Dash From Home Challenge will run during March and April. All scorecards are due May 10th. Each task can be completed multiple times, but you will only receive points once. When you finish the tasks you would like to participate in, email or mail in your scorecard to the Dash From Home team!

Dash 5K/10K time submission
After you have completed your 5K or 10K between April 10-18, click here to submit your time. All times are due by 4/21. After the Dash, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals will be sent out to male and female age group winners in each race. Age groups are: Under 16, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+. Must be officially registered for the Dash From Home to receive a medal.

Last year, we had to postpone our celebration of the 25th Annual Donor Dash because of COVID-19. As we continue to navigate the pandemic challenges, we must continue to do everything we can to keep our community safe and are taking the Dash virtual.

Running the 5K or 10K?
Tips for Long-Distance Running:
1. Clear your mind and prepare mentally.
2. Hydrate and fill your body with energy boosting nutrients.
3. Find a pace you're comfortable running throughout the majority of your long-distance run.
4. Split your run into mini sections and create goals. Try to go faster for a longer duration, or push yourself to do another lap around your block.
5. Make sure to help your body recover post-run. Gradually lowering your heart rate, stretching and eating a well-balanced meal can help your body recover after your long run.
